Your Child can engage with STEM educational concepts and principles
OFF the computer. No software, No screens.
Science hobby kits educate not just about the subject matter being built. The construction process itself is a hands on application and learning process for engineering and STEM principles.
Your child doesn't only receive the in depth educational material about Science, Biology, archeology or robotics as the model is constructed. Seeing how bones, muscles, joints, leverage, physics and energy work inside as the Shark, dinosaur or robotic penguin is put together.
By following complex instructions, using math, engineering and system thinking to understand what they've made, all build a solid foundation for other STEM education to grow from.
A big Barrier to hobby modeling are some of the upfront costs for needed tools and equipment. Every student is provided a tool kit for construction and art supplies to make their model kits unique during class.
Each student will have a small tool box with common supplies. Sanding sticks, files, paint brushes, and few centrally located adhesives applied by the instructor if there are accidents or mistakes.
After the process of constructing the model there are countless ways to add artistic flare that make each build unique and bring out the interesting details and features the model kit has. Plamo Parlor also wants to help foster the idea of art and creativity being a crucial and integral piece of a STEM education as much as math or engineering.
